Southside Camera Club Inc (SCC) Cairns established in 1997 is a small friendly club, holding monthly meetings, club competitions, regular outings and workshops.
The aim of the club is to encourage members to teach people photography through self-help and encourage members to develop their own creativeness.
We welcome new members from all experience levels: beginner, amateur, enthusiast, professional. Member benefits include participation in monthly club competitions with critique and feedback, participate in club outings and workshops, receive monthly newsletters and share knowledge and information with other club members.
Club meetings are held 7.30pm the 4th Wednesday of each month at Hambledon House, 177 Bruce Highway Edmonton.
The SCC is affiliated with the Photographic Society of Queensland and is a not-for-profit organisation.
